Evidence, A Dance Company celebrates is 24th anniversary season in 2009!  Our workshops, classes, community engagement programs, touring and creation of new work are vital to fulfilling the company's mission.  Donations at any level are important and appreciated. 

EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The Company actively engages in various community engagement activities and educational programs including master classes, movement workshops, lecture/demonstrations, classroom lectures, and pre- and post-show discussions, curriculum based arts in education classes, long term residencies, etc. The company has ongoing partnerships with Hunter College, NYU Tisch School of the Arts and Medgar Evers College and a special relationship with Howard University through Evidence’s apprentice program.



NEW WORKS

The creation of new work is the basis of all that we do at Evidence.  It can take anywhere from 1 – 3 years from inception to research to staged performance.  Help support Ronald K. Brown in the creation of new work.


TOURING AND PERFORMANCES

Only 40% of Evidence’s expenses are covered by performance fees and ticket sales. Contributions from you and other friends are essential in ensuring that the Company can continue to bring Evidence dances to communities around the world
