OVERVIEW
DANCE INTENSIVE
TECHNIQUE CLASS
The two-week technique curriculum includes a daily technique class, where dancers will be guided through stretching and conditioning exercises that support a dancer’s flexibility, strength, and overall fitness. Information about injury prevention and tools to maintain their physical readiness in support of their dance training will be taught throughout the course. Classes will end with Ronald K. Brown movement phrases across the floor to utilize the techniques and movement style of EVIDENCE.
REPERTORY CLASS
Repertory classes are designed to allow the dancer to experience a professional rehearsal process, not only learning EVIDENCE repertory, but learning the fundamentals and expectations of a professional dancer in the rehearsal process.
Classes are Monday to Friday 11AM - 5PM
DANCE WORKSHOP SERIES
For the past 19 years, EVIDENCE has hosted this two week workshop offering classes in the African Diaspora, taught by reputable masters in the field of dance.
They are available as single walk-in classes or at a discounted rate for the full two weeks.
Classes are Monday to Friday 6:30PM - 8:30PM

SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE INFO
This is a two-week full commitment program focused on training dancers in the Ronald K. Brown contemporary technique, offering an opportunity for dancers to learn EVIDENCE repertory in a vigorous rehearsal setting. The intensive runs from Monday - Friday during the day with an option to additionally attend the Summer Workshop Series for more in depth understanding of the origins of
Ronald K. Brown / EVIDENCE repertory.
The daily sessions are divided into three parts.
*11:00am - 12:30pm with a warmup technique class taught by guest faculty
*1:00pm - 2:30pm Technique Class taught by the EVIDENCE directors and dancers where students will learn the fundamentals to the Ronald K Brown technique and style.
*3:15pm - 5:00pm Repertory Class taught by EVIDENCE directors and dancers, where students will learn excerpts from repertory that will be performed
in a public performance Saturday, August 9 3pm

TUITION FEES
Summer Intensive:
$600 will cover full two weeks of intensive technique and repertory classes
$750 will cover both the Summer Dance Intensive schedule and the evening Dance Workshop Series.
Dance Workshop Series:
$20 for single classes
$150 will cover full two weeks of evening classes
$750 will cover both the Summer Dance Intensive schedule and the evening Dance Workshop Series.
